How do you feel whenever you reorganize your room, living room, office and kitchen?
Then, what do you think reorganizing your life will look like?
When I returned home After a week long refreshing programme at the Holy Ghost Congress few days ago, I discovered my little boys have scattered my study. It looked so rough and disorganized. Then I decided to get it organized.
When I finished the cleaning and rearrangement, the small study looked beautiful, calm and attractive to me.
Wait a minute!!! I asked myself.
Is this not the study that looked so ugly and repulsive to me few hours back? Now it has become attractive and beautiful once more.
What’s the difference?
I got it organized.
It dawned on me that there’s power in organized system, operations and environment.
The beauty of everything is organization.
Whatever gets organized becomes beautiful and lovely.
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void…” (Genesis 1:1-2).
But when God reorganized the chaos, void, emptiness and darkness, the beauty of the earth came forth.
“Then God saw everything that He had made and indeed it was VERY GOOD…” (Vs 31).
STEPS TO GET YOURSELF ORGANIZED FOR THE NEW YEAR
Here are few steps I feel may help in getting yourself organized for the Best year ahead.
1. Take Time Away To Refuel
Resist the temptation to finish this year in the midst of activities without you taking time out to review the closing year and revive for the coming year.
2. Get Dissatisfied with the Unpleasant
Just like my boys did to my study, you may also discover certain disorganization has happened to your life, work or relationship in the course of the year. You must refuse to ignore the diclusters. It doesn’t matter what it may cost you, get the unpleasant around you organized before the year ends.
3. Engage Your Trash Bin
The process of reorganizing involves making a decision on what to do with some trash in your life. Never pity the trash that may get you disorganized in the coming year. They must end in the trash bin.
Get those issues in your relationship resolved. Throw away the resentment and anger that can affect your peace to enjoy the best year ever. Clear all the waiting files on your desk. Make a decision that will impact the coming year positively. Throw your fear into the trash bin. Do the right thing and throw the wrong thing in the trash bin.
I see you ending this year properly organized to embrace the best God has prepared for you in the coming year.
My goal is to help you become a Person of Purpose and Power for Living Your Ultimate Best Life.
