There are times when life takes us to a point that we either hold on or let go. We all have moments of pains behind closed doors. You can read more about overcoming secret pains here. We all fight battles that no one knows about. We may appear great on the outside while we cry inside for help. This is what David called “From the end of the earth” in Psalm 61:2.
What’s your own end of the earth? What point are you in life that seems so low and makes you think you are down to the floor? What are your struggles – personal, emotional, financial or spiritual? What’s your confusion, your fear, your desperation and your agitation? How low is your reality compared to your ideal and vision?
If at all you are fighting a battle no one knows about, you need to find courage in this that, GOD KNOWS and HE CARES. No matter how low you may be at the end of the earth, The eternal God is your refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms (Deut 33:27).
What to do when You Fight Battles no One Knows About
When you fight battles no one knows about – Challenges that are beyond what a close friend who cares can understand. You need not give up. There’s no failure except in no longer reaching out for possible solution. Why not try what David did?
Desperately Reach Out to God
According to King David, you need to CRY to God (Psalm 61:2). Don’t hide your desperation. Agonize before Him. Do faith cry. Let Him know your heart is overwhelmed and fainting. You need to desperately reach out to God when you fight battles no one knows about.
Ask for God’s Leading
There’s a place in God where weaknesses are turned to strengths. When we ask for God’s leading at the point of giving up, He leads us to His Grace – a rock that is too high for faint hearts. When God leads you to that rock, you find rest for your hurting soul, hope for your hopelessness, victory for your defeat, strength for your weakness and joy for your sorrow.
Release Your Weapons: God has Better Ones
When your world is crumbling down around you, and you are fighting serious battles you need to lay aside your weapons because God has better ones. Your strategies, methods, and efforts cannot help out and that’s why you are at this point. So trade your weapons for better weapons. God has better ones and His weapons never fail.
When you fight battles no one knows about, and you are almost giving up, God will lead you to the rock that is high than you. No matter how hard the battle gets or no matter how down you are, Never give up!
I believe that your tomorrow will be alright. I believe in miracles. I believe success is what happens after you have survived all your downs and downs. I believe God will take you to a rock higher than you, where victories over battles of life are secured.
“The best advice I can give to anyone going through a rough patch is to never be afraid to ask for help.”
