“Success based on anything but internal fulfillment is bound to be empty.” – Martha Friedman

Life to me is meant to be a journey towards fulfillment of a life purpose. In the last post, we considered a dynamic anointing for fulfilling our God-given assignment  – the anointing for vision – the ability to see beyond the natural. But in this second part, I’ll like to discuss the anointing for proofs.

The best proof of a best life is fulfillment of personal purpose.

Proofs are manifestations and confirmations of who we are and what we represent on earth. The Scripture records concerning Jesus, “This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.”

Life always demands proofs. Fulfilling our assignment successfully requires a corresponding proof. Whatever we do in life without proofs cannot be substantiated. Truly, evidence is the currency by which one fulfills the burden of proof. Carl Sagan was noted for saying, “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.”

People don’t accept what does not produce proofs. Therefore, the demand of fulfillment of purpose requires the anointing for proofs.

Just like the saying, “Tell me and I will forget, but show me and I will always remember.” Simply put, as leaders or emerging leaders, our impact cannot be greater than our proofs. That’s why the Bible says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19). Purposeful living will always require undeniable proofs.

What Every Leader Must Know to Operate Under the Anointing for Proofs

  • Leadership Impact Requires Proofs
When it comes to Life, the critical thing is: Are you Living Your Best Life or Living an Average Life? You will find the answers in this New Book – Power to Live Your Best Life

Leadership is people business. But without a proof that meets the expectations of the people, a leader cannot have any impact. L. Selborne says, “I cannot go upon suspicion; I can only look at the evidence” So, before anyone will take up a challenge of leadership, he or she must be ready to define what makes him the leader – proofs.

  • Proofs are Signs of a Genuine Call

A genuine proof that meets the needs of people comes from a genuine call. Life is a calling to a specific assignment. When you are not called by God to what you are doing, it’s not likely you will produce proofs.

In Exodus 2:14-15, Moses wanted to manifest his leadership ability, but there was no proof to back it up until he was genuinely called by God. After that, the Bible says Moses did the signs in the sight of the people (Exodus 4:29-30). Without a genuine call of God upon our lives, we cannot authenticate our life assignment before the people we have been sent to.

  • How to Receive Anointing for Proofs

Having established the fact that proofs requires a genuine call, we need to understand the ‘how’ of receiving this anointing. Holy Spirit is the producer of proofs. We are simply the displayer. We should never assume the role of producer of evidences needed to substantiate our calling. We are simply an image that displays the miracles and potency of God’s power that will cause people to yield to God.

Therefore, we must humble ourselves, have faith in God, witness for Jesus and trust Him to do the rest. Our responsibility is to obey. Simple obedience or sometimes ridiculous obedience is all that is required to operate under this anointing that gives proofs in our ministries and organizations.
