Do you desire to see the fulfillment of your dream in this second half of the year?
To make your dreams a reality is a battle. It requires a fight. Turning your dreams to a reality is not going to be easy. There are many people with great dreams, but only a few are seeing the reality of their big dreams.
Many of us have been taught the importance of dreaming big. Having a big dream is good, but knowing what it takes to make your dream a reality and the courage to do it is the greatest.
If you are not ready for a fight, you are equally not ready for a flight to the land of fulfillment of dream.
Never expect to see your dream turn to reality on a platter. You must get equipped, stand up, face the battle and conquer to enter your promise land of dream fulfillment.
“Most people with lofty dreams end up as a mediocre and die unfulfilled because they are ignorant of how hard one has to fight to make those dreams a reality.”
One example of someone who fought to see his dream turned to reality is Paul, the apostle in 2 Timothy 4:7. He said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
So, what good fight have we been called into, to turn our dream to a reality?
Fight Against Fear
Fear is one of the assassins of great dreams. The thought of negative outcome from pursuing your dreams is fear at work. Fear magnifies the picture of failure, and amplifies the voice of defeat in order to drown your confidence in the ocean of mirage.
The fight against fear is won by doing what you are afraid of. This fight is a must for anyone who desire to see a fulfillment of dream. Wherever there is fear, God cannot be found there because He has not given us the spirit of fear ( 2 Timothy 1:7).
Is fear of any kind holding you back from pursuing the great future you have seen ahead?
Draw courage from the Lord. Trust in His word and promise. Stand up and pick up your fight against your fear.
Action towards the direction of your fear is your greatest weapon. Someone said, “Life is very hard. The only people who really live are those who are harder than life itself.”
To be harder than life is to choose to live by faith. Fear is a pointer to lack or little faith. If you can operate in faith, you cannot be stopped by fear (Mark 4:40).
Fear does not deserve a gentle approach if you are passionate about fulfilling your God-given dream. Only violent action against your fear is what will subdue your fear under your feet.
Do you have a big dream worth fighting for? Then, don’t fold your arms saying “what will be will be.” More often than none, what will be comes to be when you have fought for it.
Do you want to see your dream turn to a reality about your marriage, career, ministry, organization and business?
So, fight the fear holding you back from taking the necessary steps that will facilitate the fulfillment by taking the steps anyway. Stephen Richards says,
“When you’re scared, you stay as you are!”
But when you fight against your fear, you will leave majority behind in the land of fantasies.
You will be enlisted among the valiant and the courageous who refuse to settle for mediocrity.
In the word of Richie Norton, “To escape fear, you have to go through it, not around.”
Fight to make your dream a reality in this second half of the year!
